The Yogurt Palace

This tiny little frozen yogurt shop on Main Street in Fallbrook is pretty amazing. They've been open for 33 years. I remember getting coupons for free yogurt from my orthodontist when I took care of my braces. In High School I went there with one of my teachers and a few of my friends when the little shop had just started serving sandwiches (I still remember how tasty my chicken salad sandwich was). The food is really good there, ranging from freshly made sandwiches to hot dogs, but the main attraction is (of course) the frozen yogurt.
Every dish comes with one free topping of choice. There are tons of options when it comes to toppings. There are also many options of frozen yogurt flavors, but the flavors available vary from day to day, with the exception of staples like vanilla and chocolate.
I forgot to take a picture of my own tasty treat, but here is one from the Village News' article celebrating the Yogurt Palace's thirtieth year of business, which you can find here.
I enjoy my vanilla and Oreo creation-- not nearly enough Oreos!

although it's been open for 30+ years, it has changed owners a number of times. we used to know the lady who was the owner back in the late 80s/early 90s.
