Melons

I haven't really had much to blog about lately, but I didn't want to be neglectful, so here's a little cartoon I drew in church (I'm such a bad person, I know) about an actual experience I had at the grocery store:

You slay me! Actually, the exact same thing happened to me once. Only it was a mango not a melon, and it was in our garden, and I didn't knock, and I wasn't surprised, and it was a window not a door, and it was a little grey alien not a little person. Oh, and I didn't get grapes instead.

ha! funny. was it a cantaloupe?

and the visual I'm getting from mom's 'experience' is giving me the creeps... a little grey alien in a mango house staring at mom who is staring back. Silence. Was it a moment when both realized that today was not the day to eat a mango? Was it a moment when they shared some sort of inter-species connection? Did the alien telepathically transmit the secret ingredient to special blend porridge??

Mysteries.

Yes, no, and yes, only the other way around.
